Morena’s coordinator in the Chamber of Deputies, Ignacio Mier, considered that next Sunday’s opposition march was called to uncover and continue defending
the president of the National Electoral Institute (INE), Lorenzo Córdova, while his counterpart from the PRI, Rubén Moreira, confirmed that his party will attend that demonstration and trusted that he will not be booed.
Mier, who yesterday met with Andrés Manuel López Obrador, insisted that the march was called by businessman Claudio X. González, who is the true leader of the opposition. He even related that when it comes to reaching an agreement with the leaders of the opposition parties, they always ask for time to consult his opinion and that of the Guardian angel
Lawrence Cordova.
He later reported on Twitter: “I met with the President of Mexico @lopezobrador_ We are talking about the #PEF2023 budget, we guarantee the increase in social programs. He reiterated the affectionate greeting to the people of Puebla.
In an interview, Moreira reiterated that his party is going to defend the INE, the electoral tribunals and the local institutes. You will see it in our voting
