Santo Domingo.— The disappearance of the girl Brianna Genao Gonzálezreported more than a week ago, took a tragic turn after confirming a fatal outcome in the case.
According to preliminary information, Rafael Reyes Núñez Rosariouncle of the three-year-old infant and brother of Yesica María Gonzálezwould have confessed his responsibility in the death of the minor, in addition to admitting that he raped her.
The data emerged after several days of interrogations by the authorities, within the framework of the investigation into the event that occurred in the community of Barrero, Imbert municipality, Puerto Plata province, in the northern region of the country.

The investigation of the case is in charge of the general Jorge Luis Galan GuerreroNorthern regional director of the National Police, who announced that in the next few hours more details about the process will be offered.
The whereabouts of the minor’s body are unknown at this time. According to preliminary information, Núñez Rosario would have admitted that he buried the body of his niece, although he stated that he did not remember the exact place where he left the remains, which keeps the search efforts by the authorities active.
The girl Brianna disappeared from her residence on December 31with no trace of his whereabouts until that moment.
