Unbirthday, magical ritual in cocktails

Unbirthday, magical ritual in cocktails

Even Lewis Carroll, author of the book “Alice in Wonderland” would be surprised by the Unbirthday concept developed by Sofitel Mexico City Reforma, a Pop Up for those who prefer cocktail experiences and a dreamy afternoon-evening.

The immersion is conceived from a geometrized world that mixes textures, shapes, flavors and vibrant colors to follow Alicia’s path. Visitors do not fall into an infinite tunnel, rather they go up to one of the most beautiful terraces on Paseo de la Reforma.

Jesús Duarte, the French hotel’s head mixologist, is the main guide in the experience, who talks about the rituals of the seven drinks that are prepared with Moët Hennessy.

The journey begins with a complimentary citrus tea followed by a cocktail selection, for example, Absolem’s ritual, the wise caterpillar, revealing a tropical margarita of Volcan de Mi Tierra tequila and worm salt frost.

Another option is the Cheshire cat where its smile magically disappears in a bubbly Chandon drink sweetened with colorful cotton candy, it is based on the French 75 cocktail, ideal to start your best No Birthday party.
