Ultra -right commentators and Maga figures such as Steve Bannon and Alex Jones have reacted to the murder of Charlie Kirk declaring war to the US politician left.
“We must have a strong determination. Charlie Kirk is a victim of war,” said Steve Bannon, exassor of Trump’s White House, in his program War Room After Kirk’s murder. “We are at war in this country.”
Bannon, a key figure in President Donald Trump’s first mandate, echoed the president’s comments and used violent language in the hours after Kirk’s death, despite the fact that the murderer’s motivations are unknown.

“For years, the radical left has compared wonderful Americans like Charlie with Nazis,” Trump wrote. “This type of rhetoric is directly responsible for terrorism that we see today in our country.”
“The Democrats believe that the murder of Charlie Kirk will intimidate American conservatives to submission!” Said the theoretician of the extreme right -wing conspiracy Alex Jones in X. “Wrong!”
“The murder was a professional work. The Trump Department of Justice must now take measures against the Democratic Party,” Jones wrote. “Prepare for new terrorist attacks sponsored by the Democratic Party!”
Fox News presenter, Jesse Watters, referred to Kirk’s death as a “turning point” shortly after his death was confirmed. “They are at war with us, we accept it or not, they are at war with us.”
Utah’s republican governor
The above contrasts with the positions of the governor of Utah, Republican Spencer Cox, who approached a question that both Republicans and Democrats approached on Friday after the death of Charlie Kirk.
“Will this tragic event mark a turning point? This is our moment: do we intensify the situation or do we find a way out? It is a decision.”

He promoted the idea of civility, that Republicans and Democrats find ways to join, and urged “their young friends” to get away from political anger and “choose a different path.”
“When people stop talking, it’s when violence arises,” he said.
Political operators of both parties praised their statements, noting that they helped relieve tensions, even temporarily, and public discomfort by the recent wave of political violence.
Cox’s statements sounded presidential, and more than one observer wondered if they were seeing a possible republican candidate who could unite Americans.
At the same time, both Democrats and Republicans were skeptical that aggressive and scathing political rhetoric that has taken root in politics changes after Kirk’s death.
