Ulises Quintana affirms that there is no evidence against him

The preliminary hearing in the case known as “Berilo” was again suspended. On the occasion, the Court had to decide whether to raise the case to oral trial as requested by the Public Ministry.

This case affects those prosecuted for alleged drug trafficking; Reinaldo Javier “Cucho” Cabaña and Deputy Ulises Quintana.

Ulises Quintana, national deputy for the ANR (chartist), expressed, in an interview with radio 1000 AM, that the actions of the Public Ministry are unfortunate. He accused the State agency of deliberately delaying the process due to the lack of evidence.

«I am the most interested in this going to a preliminary hearing. The Prosecutor’s Office is cheating. They do not have the supposed audios », he questioned.

He argued that the Public Ministry is being used as a “political stick” to affect him.
