The congresswoman from the bench of Free Peru Katy Ugarte has requested the president of the Congressional Ethics Commission, Karol Paredes (Popular Action), that an investigation be initiated against the parliamentarian Patricia Chirinos (Avanza País), after she issued expletives against President Pedro Castillo, during their participation in the march in favor of the vacancy.
“I immediately request the initiation of an ex officio disciplinary process (against Patricia Chirinos) in order to determine responsibility and corresponding sanction for acts contrary to the legal system, even more for promoting legal instability, violence among Peruvians and disrespect for the inauguration of the President of the Republic, ”the document reads.
In the same way, the official congresswoman states that what Chirinos acted on constitutes a violation of articles 1, 2 and 3 of the Code of Parliamentary Ethics.
In the first article, he points out that the legislator “gives the example of his vocation to serve the country and his commitment to the values that inspire the democratic rule of law.”
