Fans will pay a maximum of 60 euros ($66) per game to accompany his team to away matches in the Champions League this season, a limit that will be lowered next year, UEFA announced on Monday.
“Starting with the 2024/25 season, The maximum ticket price for visiting fans will be 60 euros in the UEFA Champions League, 40 euros in the UEFA Europa League and 20 euros in the UEFA Conference League,” the European football authority said in a statement.
According to UEFA, this is a “historic decision supported by European clubs and fan organisations” such as the European Club Association (ECA) and Football Supporters Europe (FSE).
For the 2025-2026 season, the maximum price in the away zone for the top European competition will be 50 euros, from 35 euros in the Europa Leagueand 20 euros in the Conference League.
“Today’s decision marks another key step in reaffirming the commitment of the UEFA to improve the match-day experience for all fans“, said the president of the body, Alexander Ceferin, in the statement, who advocated for “an inclusive sport in which the fans who travel all over Europe to follow their teams are valued and recognised.
In the last two seasons, the maximum price for tickets in the visitor zone in the Champions League it was 70 euros.
