According to their results, the UCAB It is the second best university in Venezuela and the first privately managed university in the country.

In 2022 (published at the end of last year), UCAB reached 76th place in the subcontinent.

UCAB rises in Venezuela

UCAB’s achievements were felt in the country. According to the QS World University Ranking 2023, UCAB climbed two positions and went from fourth to second place among its Venezuelan peers. Locally it is only surpassed by the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), which ranks first and is in the range 700-751 globally. In Latin America, the five best houses of higher education are, in descending consecutive order, the Buenos Aires’ University, from Argentina (67 worldwide); the National Autonomous University of Mexico (104 globally); the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil (115 in the global ranking); the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (121 worldwide) and the University of Chile (167 globally).

In addition to this list, UCAB recently became the only Venezuelan university to be included in the “Impact Ranking 2023” of the specialized British magazine Times Higher Educationwhich evaluates the commitment of higher education institutions with the Sustainable Development Goals established by the UN in its 2030 Agenda. There, UCAB was ranked +1001 among 1406 study houses from more than 100 countries and in position #101 of 138 universities in Latin America.
