This Thursday, the delivery of 1,300 technical aids began in the Guzmán Lander sector of Barcelona, in a deployment led by the vice president of organization of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Pedro Infante; the territorial link of the party, Luis Marcano; and Mayor Sugey Herrera.
The kits were delivered at the José Antonio Anzoátegui soccer stadium, in an act that brought together the 646 Bolívar Chávez Battle Units (UBCh) from the 21 municipalities of the state, the Bolivarian mayors and the party’s state political team.
The governor, also, recalled that the delivery is made honoring commitments made and that it was made with an investment amount of more than 6 million bolivars, “for distribution to people with vulnerable conditions through the UBCh.”
Marcano indicated that the act also paid tribute to Professor Aristóbulo Iztúriz, regarding the two years since the sowing of the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, and where it was carried out with a floral tribute in honor of the “major cimarrón”.
“We met a month and a half ago to commemorate the physical departure of our commander Hugo Chávez, to outline lines of work, to listen to them, to strengthen our morale and our conviction, six weeks later, we are here concretely carrying out what was agreed based on of the interest and protection of our People”, highlighted the regional leader during his speech.
House-to-house technical aids
Likewise, he informed that the political team, from the militancy, will have activities “Friday, Saturday and Sunday we go house by house, woman by woman, man by man, to take wheelchairs, walkers, canes, orthopedic cars, anti-decubitus mattresses, among others”.
For his part, Pedro Infante congratulated the governor and popular power for their discipline, order and fulfillment of tasks “in the unity of patriots, unity of equals, unity of our people because the PSUV is the People’s Party.”
The mayoress and member of the political team, Sugey Herrera, highlighted that the deliveries began in honor of the “professor, on the two-year anniversary of his passing to immortality, because his work” like every revolutionary, this was walking, side by side, with the people, in the conquest of social justice”.
Herrera pointed out that this is nothing more than the deepening of the social attention of the people through the natural leaders of each UBCh.
