U-12 team intensifies training for the Pre-World Cup in Mexico

. The U12 national team of Panama intensifies its preparation for its participation in the Mexico World Cup to be played in the city of Aguascalientes, between May 19 and 28, 2023, with the participation of 11 nations.

The Creole team will be training at night at the Claudio Nieto de Monagrillo stadium from this Thursday, May 4 to take advantage of the artificial lighting and seek an adaptation in the players.

“We are going to seek to adapt to artificial lighting since there are possibilities of games at night and we will have more blank games,” said the team’s manager, the international Elpidio Pinto.

This Saturday, the U12 national team will face a 14-year-old team at the José Antonio Remón Cantera stadium in Aguadulce, as part of their preparation for the tournament.

The event in Mexico grants 4 places to the World Cup in Taiwan, also this year, and teams such as the United States, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Curaçao, Honduras, Brazil, Cuba and Panama will be competing.
