Two young people in Guachupita are delivered after police operation; They delivered a weapon

SANTO DOMINGO.- Two young people who remained entrenched in a house in the Guachupita sector, in the National District, delivered to the authorities after remaining hidden around two hours, the National Police reported.

According to the institutional spokesman, Colonel Diego Pesqueira, the delivery was achieved by means of a mediation headed by representatives of the uniformed person who dialogued with those involved.

During the delivery, the young people gave the agents a firearm that, according to the police, would be linked to the criminal act for which they were sought.

The authorities raised the operation in the place and transferred the detainees in police custody.

The institution indicated that it will continue with the investigative proceedings to determine the participation of those arrested in the event and that they will send the case to the Public Ministry for the corresponding legal purposes.
