Upon learning of this crime, Cicpc-Las Acacias officials arrested the alleged perpetrators of the murder. Through the investigations carried out, it was learned that the victim was sharing with his perpetrators, two young men aged 16 and 17 and Jesús Rubio Castillo (22).
When they chose to leave the scene, along the way, this criminal trio subdued Edwin, with the aim of stripping him of his belongings, but Colina resisted the robbery and his attackers gave him several penetrating stab wounds, stripped him of his shoes and fled the scene, says the Cicpc report, which specifies that those involved were arrested in the San José sector, Valencia.
