Two women aged 65 and 68 were found dead at their home in Bella Unión this Friday afternoonreported local media and confirmed The Observer with the Chief of Police of Artigas, Adolfo Cuello.
Cuello reported that at 3:00 p.m. they received a call from a relative, the ex-husband of one of them, who He was the one who found them dead and stabbed in the house. Both women were sisters and resided in the same house, Cuello added.
The department’s Police Headquarters and the Scientific Police are working at the scene to clarify the facts and so far there have been no detainees, confirmed Cuello.
