A man in a wheelchair was shot to death yesterday in Piedras Blancas. Witnesses to the crime assure that two individuals with fluoride vests who were riding a black motorcycle fatally wounded the man on Carlos Hounie and Matilde Pacheco streets, according to Underlined (Channel 10). In 2019, the victim had received several firearm impacts on both lower limbs; he had a record for theft and sale of drugs. Police sources confirmed to the aforementioned information that the victim received two bullet wounds, one in the chest and the other in the abdomen.
Police officers were alerted about the incident and when they arrived at the scene they did not locate the injured person since he had been transferred to the Captain Tula polyclinic where he died. 9mm caliber pistol cases were found in the area.
24 years for homicide

On January 28, the investigation against the detainee for the alleged commission of a very especially aggravated crime of homicide was formalized, ordering preventive detention for a term of 180 days as a precautionary measure.
After the trial carried out in recent days, the man with the initials EGIP was sentenced as the criminally responsible author of a crime of robbery with deprivation of liberty, attempted seizure, in concurrence, outside of the repetition with a crime of murder very especially aggravated, a crime of serious injuries and a crime of aggravated violation of domicile, to the penalty of 24 years in prison.
