Two men shot dead and two injured left a confusing incident that occurred this Sunday night in the Boca Canasta community, municipality baniPeravia province.
The deceased were identified as Jeison Manuel Ramírez Sevilla, 23, and Warnis Alodis Peguero, 37, shot during a altercation occurred in a grocery store located on Máximo Gómez street, in which a police officer and a minor were also involved. The identity and condition of the injured is still unknown.
The incident occurred after the minor had alleged differences with the police officer at the grocery store, and proceeded to alert his relatives of what had happened. The minor’s relatives appeared at the establishment, where a altercation which ended in a shootout.
Preliminary police reports show that Alodis Peguero was wounded at the scene, while Ramírez Sevilla was hit by one of the shots while he was sitting in front of a nearby residence.
The fact is being investigated by the Central Investigation Directorate (Dicrim) and so far no official report on the case has been provided.
