The canelones police investigates the death of two people this weekend in the town of 18 de Mayo in the department of Canelones. First of all, a 35-year-old woman was murdered on Saturday night at the door of his house.
The Canelones police voice reported that the perpetrators were two men who arrived at the house on a motorcycle, demanded money and fired two shots. The woman died at the Las Piedras hospital.
The homicide and scientific police department is working on this case.
Furthermore, this Sunday morning the body of a 21-year-old was found in a vacant lot, also located in the town of 18 de Mayo.
Police sources told El Observador that, in the area known as El Santo, the young man was at a party where there was an argument and he was shot in the abdomen. Several witnesses are being investigated.
