Two people, presumably linked to the crime of kidnapping, of a businessman, were apprehended during Operation Valle de Luna, carried out in Chilibre, Pacora and Pedregal. This operation was carried out by the Police and authorities of the Public Ministry.
During a press conference held this afternoon, the Prosecutor of the Public Ministry Emeldo Márquez said that the two arrested will be presented before a Judge of Guarantees, where the First Prosecutor’s Office Against Organized Crime will request charges for the crime of kidnapping a businessman and 2 of his workers.
For his part, the Director of Judicial Investigation, Commissioner Carlos Valenca, stated that in order to avoid being victims of kidnapping, when a service is purchased, all necessary data and information must be confirmed and extreme precautions must be taken.
