Regarding the arrest of the chemist allied to “Los Chapitos”, the Spanish police detailed that this was carried out after they began an investigation since July into the existence of a possible drug trafficking point in a house located in the Toledo municipality of Yuncos.
Thus, after several efforts, the investigators verified the unusual movement of people and vehicles, expanding surveillance around that place, identifying two laboratories, located in isolated places and under different security measures, one of them dedicated to the production of methamphetamine. and another for cocaine.
After the intervention of the authorities, 16 people were arrested, including the Mexican chemist, from whom 6.5 kilos of methamphetamine, 31 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride, 125 kilos of cocaine base, 10 kilos of ephedrine, 7,500 liters of precursors and more than 21,000 euros in cash.
