Two new urban developments of the Procrear program are projected in Palermo and Caballito

The representative of the National Administration of Social Security (Anses) and president of Playas Ferroviarias de Buenos Aires, Sofía González, and the Secretary of Territorial Development of the Nation, Luciano Scatolini, signed this Wednesday an act of collaboration for iImplement in a coordinated manner two new developments of Procrear urban projects on the railway beaches of Caballito and Palermo.

Both properties currently belong to Playas Ferroviarias de Buenos Aires (PFBA)a Public Limited Company created by Decree 1723/12, whose shareholders are Anses and the State Assets Administration Agency (AABE).

The act of collaboration, signed this Wednesday at the headquarters of the Ministry of Territorial Development and Habitat, It is the first step to advance in the signing of a joint agreement, which will allow to continue developing operations mixed in the urban projects in charge of Playas Ferroviarias.

“Procrear was the most important housing access program in our country in the last 50 years, thanks to which thousands of Argentine families were able to achieve their dream of owning a home. With these two projects that we are beginning to shape, We seek to contribute so that the residents of the City of Buenos Aires can access decent housing in neighborhoods where this is currently very difficult, such as Palermo and Caballito”, González said during the signing of the agreement.

“We hope that the insertion in the market of housing units at affordable prices will contribute to a fairer price dynamic,” added the official.

Scatolini, for his part, pointed out that “It is very important that we can carry out this coordinated work in order to guarantee the right to decent housing for more families. Carrying out initiatives of this type will also serve to create genuine employment and boost the economy of the sector and of the neighborhoods where the homes will be located.”
