Agents of the Montevideo Police arrested this Friday after a kidnapping complaint was filed in an incident that occurred in the Las Acacias neighborhood.
In accordance with Telemundo, the police officers intercepted those under investigation on General Flores and Rancagua streets. At the time of their arrest, the subjects were on board a truck where they transferred the victim. The victim had multiple bruises on his face.
When asked about what happened, both the driver and the passenger assured that they beat the subject because he robbed them.
Given the cross complaints, the Prosecutor’s Office ordered that both receive a transfer to testify about the incident.
