The Justice of Canelones handed down a sentence against two criminals who committed multiple robberies in the town of Atlántida and Parque del Plata.
In the first instance, the police officers managed to apprehend Pablo Gabriel Rodríguez Vega, 30 years old. The capture of the man, holder of five criminal records for theft and burglary, occurred on Route 36 and Paso Grúa road. The arrest took place after the man was linked to multiple robberies committed against passers-by in the spas of the indicated towns.
In the last few hours, the police officers of these towns also arrested Ronaldo Ciro Martínez Silva, 24 years old. In his case, the young man has a criminal record for supplying and selling drugs, as well as theft.
Finally, after appearing before the Justice of Atlántida, both men received a prison sentence. For finding them guilty of a continued crime of especially aggravated robbery, they must both serve an effective eight-year prison sentence.
