Two men accused of raping a child under the age of eight are arrested

The National Police seized this Tuesday in the sector Lost SavannahSanto Domingo North municipality, to two men accused of sexually abusing a child under the age of eightwhose name is withheld for legal reasons, against whom arrest warrants had been issued and were fugitives from justice.

The defendants are Pedro Pablo Osorio Happybetter known as “Frank”, 46 years old and Wisneudy de la Rosa, 21 years old. Those identified as responsible for the action to the detriment of the minor were arrested in the Barrio Nuevo sector, also located in Sabana Perdida.

The execution of the search and arrest warrants were carried out by agents of the Central Directorate of Criminal Investigations of the National Police (DICRIM), who moved to the scene early in the morning.

The preliminary investigation of the facts indicates that the person who sexually abused the eight-year-old minor was the defendant known as “Frank” while pointing to Wisneudy as an accomplice in the action, although the report of the authorities does not clearly establish whether the second man participated actively in crime.

The authorities also revealed that the suspects were placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry to be brought to justice and it is expected that a coercive measure will be known in the next few hours.
