Five people who remained in the hands of a kidnapping group were rescued in Caracas by members of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), according to police sources.
The situation arose this Saturday night at the corner of El Carmen, Avenida Baralt, at the height of the National Institute of Nutrition, Caracas.
The police commission arrived at the site alerted by neighbors. The criminals opened fire, starting an exchange of fire where two of the offending group, still to be identified, were killed.
In addition, the uniformed men captured four members of the criminal group that perpetrated the kidnapping. Two firearms, a hand grenade and two vehicles were seized from these people.
