In the San Isidro sector, Presidente Páez parish, Alberto Adriani municipality, El Vigía, Mérida state, the scientific police of the El Vigía Municipal Delegation, arrested Yordi Josué Suescun Becerra (25) and Fabián Antonio Gutiérrez Galán (22), for the crime of armed robbery.
The investigations carried out by the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) made it possible to determine that these criminals were dedicated to stripping of their belongings from people who were passing through areas near the place of detention, using knife-type weapons and under threat of death, after fleeing, they traded the objects for financial gain.
When verified before the Siipol, it showed that Yordi Suescun had three police records for generic theft, violence or resistance to authority and micro-trafficking of narcotic and psychotropic substances.
The detainees were placed under the command of the Seventh Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of the Judicial District of the state of Mérida.
While in the Zea municipality, a police commission attached to the Caño Tigre-Km15 Rural Patrol Unit arrested a 73-year-old man who attacked José Luis Rivera Guzmán (65) with a machete-type weapon.
The aggressor was placed under the command of the Eighth Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry in Tovar.
