Two members of the Lima Airport Partners (LAP) Aeronautical Fire Department, died on the afternoon of this Friday, November 18, after an accident that occurred at the Lima airport, Peru, between a fire truck and a plane that served flight LA2213 .
Through a statement, the LAP expressed its solidarity with the families of the deceased Ángel Torres, from the Garibaldi 6 Fire Company and Nicolás Santa Gadea from the Garibaldi 7 Fire Company.
They assured that they are conducting investigations to determine the causes of the accident.
After the unfortunate event, they reported that airport operations will be suspended until tomorrow, Saturday at 1:00 p.m., for which they asked users who have flights in the next few hours to contact their airline to reschedule them.
