No one stops the crime wave in the region! Two engineers were shot dead while they were on their way to remodeling a school in Samán Chico. Meanwhile, a young surveyor was shot dead while working on a road and sidewalk project in the Villa Primavera sector. Both crimes occurred in the province of Sullana.
The first criminal act that has plunged two families into mourning occurred at around 8:45 a.m. yesterday, when engineers Kevin Joel Palacios Zapata and Fabian Cabrera Nima were traveling on motorcycle 2855-CB on a road in the town of Samán Chico and in front of some hills.
At that moment, in front of the residents, two hitmen on a motorcycle intercepted them and attacked them, according to what the neighbors heard, with more than four shots that hit their chest, abdomen and other parts of the body, killing them instantly and leaving them lying on the spot and next to their motorcycle.
According to residents, the engineers, who allegedly belonged to the La Noria consortium, were on their way to work on the remodeling of the Francisco Bolgnesi educational institution that is being carried out in the La Noria population center, located a few kilometers from the area where they were killed by the hitmen.
Meanwhile, the Depincri Police in charge of the case carried out the proceedings and collected testimonies and other evidence at the scene of the double murder.

It was also learned that they would be considering the hypothesis that the double murder was motivated by jobs or that they would have been extorting those in charge of jobs at the school, who were asked for places.
“What we ask for first is the immediate departure of the Minister of the Interior. And secondly, that they provide more logistics to the National Police, because the Police may have all the will, but they do not have sufficient logistics to provide more security to the people,” said the lieutenant governor of Samán Chico, Santos Castro Vera.
At the same time, he indicated that in the area where the double murder occurred, “we are organized with peasant patrols, but the patrols carry out their strategic operations at night, but this (the engineers’ crime) has occurred during the day,” emphasized the authority of said jurisdiction.

While at around 11 o’clock yesterday morning, a young student of Civil Engineering at the César Vallejo University of Piura was shot in the head, apparently by mistake, when on her first day of work she had arrived to do topography work on the construction of roads and sidewalks in the Villa Primavera settlement, in the province of Sullana.
This is about Ana Lizbeth Yarlequé Risco, 20 years old, when she was on Juan Bosco Avenue on the corner of Las Violetas Street and two subjects on a motorcycle arrived and one of them got off with a firearm and shot her and left her lying down.
At that moment, a worker identified as Jorge Rivera confronted the criminal and shot him in one of his legs. He was taken to the hospital on Santa Rosa Avenue, while the criminals fled towards the La Videnita sector.
After that, the victim’s brother, upon seeing Lisbeth, picked her up in his arms and transported her in a vehicle to Support Hospital II-2, but unfortunately the doctors certified that she had arrived lifeless.
“Look how they killed my niece… It’s unfortunate what happened to her. She has started working. She was studying and they had given her a job (in topography) to help her finish her studies and look what happened and they killed her…”, said Ernesto Yarlequé, uncle of the young victim, crying, who along with other relatives arrived at the hospital on Santa Rosa Avenue, in the city of Sullana. Meanwhile, friends and relatives of her family demanded justice from the police authorities and that they clarify the incident and find those responsible for the murder of the 20-year-old university student who, according to her relatives, had big plans.
