Two agents of the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (Dgcim) died in the middle of a road accident that occurred this Tuesday morning at kilometer 7 of the Caracas-La Guaira highway.
Reports from organizations attached to Risk Management refer to the involvement of two vehicles. A gray Cherokee Jeen, license plate BBI52X, which collided with a white Corolla XLI, without a license plate, which was parked on the shoulder due to mechanical failure.
As a result of this impact on the parked Corolla, Dgcim agents Daniel Tovera Martínez and Fernández Rúa died, both attached to the central command of that security force located in Boleíta, Sucre municipality (Miranda).
In that same Corolla there were also two other Dgcim agents: Jeremy Noriega Ramos (without injury) and José Pinto Sanguineo (injured).
When the Cherokee Jeen collides with the Corolla occupied by Dgcim officials, it continues its spectacular march approximately 200 meters in the direction of La Guaira where it parked; the driver got off and fled through the nearby urbanization.
Officials of the Bolivarian National Police went to the site of the accident to protect it until the arrival of the Cicpc.
