Two dead and several injured in traffic accidents that occurred in Puerto Plata

SILVER PORT, – Two people lost their lives due to the multiple blows and injuries they received, when they were involved in traffic accidents that occurred separately in this province.

The first of the deceased was Mr. Segundo Del Rosario, who was traveling aboard a motorcycle along the Gregorio Luperón tourist highway where he collided with a heavy vehicle.

Del Rosario died instantly at the entrance to the Los Ciruelos de Montellano community, after colliding with a blue Peterbilt truck, license plate No. L275589, which was being driven by Tomás Alberto Arias Consoró, who is in custody.

While on the main road that connects the municipal districts of Cabarete and Sabaneta de Yásica, another unfortunate accident occurred in which the young Starling Daniel Alvarado died, where his sister was also seriously injured.

Said accident occurred when the Alvarado brothers were traveling aboard a motorcycle, being hit by the gray Nissan Pathfinder jeep, license plate No. G079934, which was driven by an 86-year-old German man, Uwe Thielke.

Likewise, three unidentified people were injured in road accidents that occurred in the communities of El Estrecho Omar Bross in Luperón and Palmar Grande de Altamira, located in the western part of the province of Puerto Plata.
