An infant who was only one month old and a young man died after a vehicle collision, this Wednesday night, on the Sorpresa-Muelles highway in the Puerto Cabello municipality, Carabobo.
According to information published in the newspaper La Calle, around 6:30 in the afternoon the fatal accident occurred, in which a Toyota Merú truck overturned on the wrong side of the road and hit two vehicles: a Dodge Caliber and a Hyundai Getz.
The crew members were ejected, and Luis Gutiérrez, 25, was injured; Johan Gómez, 19 years old; Erika Márquez, 20 years old, and Jesús Rodríguez, 50 years old, along with the fatal victims whose identities are unknown.
Through videos that circulated on social networks captured by passersby, you can see the public lighting pole tilted and detached from the central island of the road due to the strong impact and the parts of the vehicles’ bodies scattered across the road.
The injured were taken in several ambulances to the area’s healthcare center and some are in a delicate state of health.
Firefighters, police, Civil Protection and Invialca personnel went to the site to remove the accident.
