Two men died after a grenade exploded inside a house located in La Toscana, Piar municipality, Monagas state.
According to reports from public safety agencies, the incident occurred on Saturday morning. Neighbors heard the explosion and alerted local police officers.
One of the deceased is known by the nickname Niche, while the other was registered as Moisés Guzmán (Boleta). A woman was injured as a result of the explosion and was taken to the Manuel Núñez Tovar hospital, located in Maturín (Monagas).
The suspects are believed to have had the explosive device inside the house where they were renting. Agents of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin) have begun an investigation to determine the origin of the grenade.
