Today, Saturday, March 25, at approximately 10:30 am, two Cuban immigrants landed at the Key West International Airport in a motorized hang glider, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office announced.
The two men, whose names have not been released, arrived in perfect physical condition. They were turned over to the US Border Patrol.
“There were no service interruptions and operations continue as normal,” Richard Strickland, director of airports, said in a statement issued by Key West Airport.
