This Monday morning turned tragic on the road that connects the municipalities of San Agustín and Isnos with the department of Huila, when A ladder bus, popularly known as a “chiva”, suffered a tragic accident.
According to initial reports, the vehicle He suffered a mechanical failure after losing his brakes and ended up crashing on a sharp curve near the Sombrerillos bridge.
The accident occurred during the early morning, when The Transandina company’s truck was heading towards Putumayo.

Local authorities quickly coordinated the transfer of the injured to health centres in San Agustín and Isnos, where they are receiving urgent medical attention.
Following the accident, the road was closed immediately while investigations are carried out to clarify the causes of the accident.
