Two arrested in Huancavelica for taking a baby vicuña on a motorcycle

They took a small newborn vicuña on a motorcycle and were detained at the Huachos police station.

Police officers from the Huachos police station managed to intervene Pedro FFS (45) and Elba AMC (21), who are involved in the alleged crime against natural resources, in the form of depredation of wild flora and fauna.

It should be noted that vicuñas are natural heritage and are considered a protected species, therefore, they should not be taken to live outside their natural habitat.

The newly born and recovered vicuña was delivered to the president of the vicuña committee of the peasant community of Huachos.
