The Police arrested the alleged perpetrators of the assault on a bioanalyst and her son, which occurred last Saturday afternoon, in the cemetery of the municipality of Tamayo, Bahoruco province.
The detainees are Jeudy Manuel Feliz and Joan Alexander González, 18 and 19 years old, respectively, who reside in the municipal district of Monserrate.
Feliz and González are pointed out as the antisocials who stripped the doctor and her son, a university student, of their belongings, including two cell phones, their wallets with personal documents, bank cards and driver’s license.
The two youths committed the crime when, at about 6:00 in the afternoon, the doctor and her son were leaving the Tamayo cemetery in a vehicle, from which the key was also stolen.
However, members of the Investigation Branch (Dicrim), together with the Preventive Police upon learning of the case, located and arrested the two assailants in record time, identified by their victims.
In the next few hours the two young people will be made available to justice for the corresponding legal purposes.
The Police reiterated that after arduous intelligence work they arrested the young people.
