Two Argentines died and seven other compatriots were injured, two of them seriously, when two cars collided near the Uruguayan resort of Manantialesin the department of Maldonado, reported firefighters.
According to the police sources consulted, heThe deceased Argentines are Micaela Trinidad and Josefina Ferrero, who were traveling in a Ford Ka car and died instantly.
Meanwhile, Melina Larbururu, 27, was in serious condition, as was Nicolás Rocas, who suffered polytrauma and blunt trauma to the abdomen. Both were admitted to the Cantegrill Sanatorium.

The accident occurred at 2:00 p.m. this Wednesday, when a Ford Ka car with “Argentine registration” and four people on board, one man and three women, collided head-on with a Volkswagen Nivus vehicle where five Argentines were traveling.
As a result of the impact, two women who were traveling in the Ford Ka died.
According to the official report of the Maldonado fire department, there was “a frontal collision between two light vehicles, on Route No. 104 at the corner of Las Ballenas, near Manantiales.”
