This weekend, TV Brasil broadcasts two clashes from the third round of the 2026 Bahia Championship: Bahia x Galícia and Porto-BA x Vitória. The matches will be shown across the country, with signal generated by the partner broadcaster, TVE Bahia, which is part of the National Public Communication Network (RNCP).
This Saturday (17), starting at 3:50 pm, Tricolor will host Galícia at Arena Fonte Nova in search of their third consecutive victory in the state competition. On Sunday (18), also at 3:50 pm, the broadcaster will broadcast the Vitória game, which will have the chance to end the goal drought in the Campeonato Baiano against Porto-BA, at the Agnaldo Bento Stadium, in Porto Seguro. Both games will be narrated by Valter Lima.
About the Bahia Championship
Starting on January 10th and expected to end on March 8th, the 2026 edition of the Campeonato Baiano arrived with changes. The competition will be held in parallel to the Brazilian Championship and will feature a reduction in dates, going from 13 to 11 games. The first phase will have nine rounds, with the four best teams qualifying for the semi-finals, which, like the final, will be played in a single game.
Ten clubs participate in the 2026 Baiano Championship: Bahia, Vitória, Atlético de Alagoinhas, Jacuipense, Porto, Juazeirense, Jequié, Barcelona de Ilhéus, Bahia de Feira and Galícia.

In addition to the Bahia Championship, the TV Brasilpublic broadcaster of Brazilian Communication Company (EBC), the year 2026 begins with the games of two other state football championships. The matches for the Capixaba and Cearense championships are also confirmed in the schedule.
Broadcasts on the small screen throughout the country will be generated from partner broadcasters that are part of the RNCP. Coverage of matches in the stadiums, narration and comments will be carried out by teams from channels in the three states: TVE Bahia, TVE Espírito Santo and TV Ceará.
