TV Brasil series wins international award

Fliparacatu brings together 63 national and international authors

The series Nos Caminhos dos Viajantes, from TV Brasil, won the Environment category of the Televisión América Latina Award (TAL) 2024. The result was announced this Thursday (12/19). The initiative aims to recognize the production of quality content on public channels on the Latin American continent. In addition, the public broadcaster of Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC) competed in three more categories in this edition.TV Brasil series wins international award

On the Paths of Travelers

The production retraces some of the first scientific expeditions into the beauty and diversity of Brazilian ecosystems. With the starting point of trails described by naturalists from the 19th century, the TV Brasil program traveled along the paradisiacal trails of Fernando de Noronha and Abrolhos, passing along the coast of Rio de Janeiro until reaching the imposing mountains of Minas Gerais. In 2024, the TAL Award received 457 entries from 52 channels in 12 Latin American countries. The edition presented innovative categories, such as “Content on Human Rights”, with the aim of highlighting productions that promote awareness, education and social mobilization in relation to this topic. In the same vein, the category “Content with a Gender and Diversity Perspective” was incorporated.
