The start of the third season of the series the musketeers is one of the highlights of the September program of TV Brazil. The epic dramaturgy production can be followed from this Wednesday (14), at 10:30 pm, with weekly episodes on the public broadcaster’s screen. “Spoils of War” is the first chapter of the plot.
The series reveals the journey of four musketeers in defense of the French crown. The new wave of editions reveals the outcome of the incredible adventure saga with a plot full of emotion. Inspired by the work of novelist Alexandre Dumas, the fiction has chapters available for seven days on the TV Brasil Play app.
Set in 17th century Paris, the narrative follows the acts of heroism of the brotherhood formed by the musketeers Athos (Tom Burke), Aramis (Santiago Cabrera), Porthos (Howard Charles) and d’Artagnan (Luke Pasqualino). Courageous, they fight for ideals such as honor, justice and love.
Right after the chapters of The Musketeers on Wednesday nights, the series TV Brazil brings the national classic O Vigilante Rodoviário, at 11:30 pm. The pioneering Brazilian police drama series airs two episodes in a row. The British production BBC there’s still an alternate time on the grid at 3:45.
first conflicts
the third season of the musketeers begins four years after the end of the previous one in a war-torn France. Tension is in the air as Porthos, Athos and d’Artagnan duel against Spain and launch a bold attack against enemies in battle.
Aramis is in a nearby monastery where he faces his own conscience at the beginning of the chapter. Spoils of War. He has vowed never to fight again, but in a turbulent context he may need to break his oath and take up arms again.
The quartet has to deal with problems at the French court. The fearless fighters return to the capital Paris and band together to thwart a stolen weapons deal. They must also rescue a group of orphans. Despite their apparent victory, many dangers await their future.

A new adversary roams the city. It is about a mysterious assassin with unknown intentions. The new villain has an undercover contact in the court of King Louis XIII (Ryan Gage). The protection of royal descent and the chance of a popular uprising against the crown haunt the Musketeers.
After facing Cardinal Richelieu (Peter Capaldi) and the Count of Rochefort (Marc Warren) in the first two seasons of the plot, they have new and dangerous villains to defeat in the last part of the adventure.
The rivals threatening the peace and succession to the French throne are the brutal mercenary Lucien Grimaud (Matthew McNulty); the corrupt Marquis de Feron, aka Philippe Achille (Rupert Everett) and the suspicious Gaston (Andre Flynn), the king’s illegitimate brother.
The musketeers are aided by the faithful minister Treville (Hugo Speer). He is sensible and able to resolve controversies, conspiracies and malicious tricks in the kingdom even with controversial measures in the face of the fragile health of the king.
Opponents crave a bloody contest to the death for power. The four musketeers try to avoid a civil war and seek to ensure the well-being of Queen Anne (Alexandra Dowling) and the young Dauphin (Robert Fisher), heir to the crown.
