Turpial Airlines takes a flight to Varadero with a weekly connection from Venezuela

As confirmed by Yamir Miyares, general coordinator of airport operations, the connection will have a weekly frequency with arrivals every Monday.

The restart of flights is carried out in collaboration with the Turoperadora Cubatur and in coordination with Cuban of Aviation, the station reported Radio 26.

Turpial Airlines, the main airline of the Venezuelan state of Carabobo, already operated previously in Cuba with flights to Santiago de Cuba and Havana, now adding this new destination on the north coast of the country.

Currently, the airline maintains four weekly frequencies to the Cuban archipelago.

The passengers of the new flight to Varadero may Access tourist packages of three, five or seven nightswith the possibility of returning to Venezuela through other routes available on the airline itinerary.

Founded in 2016 and starting operations the following year, the Turpial Airlines fleet is composed of three Boeing 737-400 aircraft, each with names alluding to Venezuelan Marian advocations: Virgen de la Chinita, Virgin of Coromoto and Virgen del Valle.

With this incorporation, the Varadero Airport expands its network of international operations, which currently includes connections with key markets such as the United States, Canada, Russia and various European countries.
