Turkish Airlines announced that it will include Lima among its new destinations by 2025

The flag airline of Türkiye, Turkish Airlineshas announced its plans to begin operations in Peru, according to the company’s financial director, Murat Seker.

In an interview with Aviation Week magazine, Seker reported that the route between Istanbul and Lima is scheduled for June 2025 and will mark the first direct air connection between Turkey and Peru.

The arrival of Turkish Airlines in Peru will expand the airline’s destination network to ten in Latin America and the Caribbean, joining cities such as Bogotá, Caracas, Panama City, Havana, Mexico City, Cancún, São Paulo, Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile.

Likewise, Seker highlighted the success of the new long-haul destinations that the company has recently launched, including Denver and Detroit in the United States, and Melbourne in Australia.

In line with this expansion, Turkish Airlines also plans to start flights to Sydney, Australia, and Santiago de Chile in December of this year, consolidating its presence in the Latin American region.
