Second year high school students from the Inmaculada Concepción school, in Tumbes, recorded a Communications teacher when he promoted a fight inside the classroom and in full class time.
According to the images broadcast by the 24 Hours newscast, the teacher encouraged two students to confront each other in a measure of physical force, causing one of them to end up on the ground.
In statements to the aforementioned media, the manager of Social Development of the Regional Government of Tumbes, Luis Cerna Apaza, indicated that documentation was sent to the UGEL Tumbes in order to sanction the teacher.
The school management was also notified so that a drastic sanction could be applied. “There will be a sanction for the teacher who has allowed this pair of young people to get involved with blows in his presence (…) this will not go unpunished”, indicated Apaza.
The journalistic report indicated that the deputy director of the school, Mirian Purizaga, indicated that the teacher saw that both minors wanted to fight and “He made them force themselves to avoid a major confrontation in the street”.
