Tumbes: Man dies after being attacked with a knife by his partner

A man was murdered with a knife in the “Entre Patas” restaurant, located near the Plaza Mayor of Tumbes. The victim, identified as Enrique Eduardo Espinoza Canales (34), was allegedly attacked by a foreign woman that he had recently revealed as his romantic partner.

According to preliminary information, around 4:45 am, the couple would have had an argumentso the woman allegedly used a knife executioner type to seriously injure the man in the neck.

The Police reported that the identity of the victim was confirmed through forensic experts and fingerprint analysis.

Given this, his mother, Isabel Canalesdemanded justice and that the alleged author receive the maximum sentence. Despite the request to identify the alleged suspect, it did not proceed, although versions suggest that she could be of Colombian or Venezuelan nationality.

It is worth mentioning that Enrique was the son of Jorge Espinoza Canales, a well-known scientist in the city of Tumbes that, for many years, made records of rainfall and weather predictions.
