Víctor Hugo ‘Tucho’ Antelo and his coaching staff publicly expressed their support for the family of the late Marco Ferrufino, who sued the leader of Fabol, David Paniagua, for alleged fraud. The leader of the soccer players was apprehended and this Tuesday he will have to testify in the city of El Alto.
In a statement published on their social networks, ‘Tucho’ and his coaching staff express their support and support for Marco Ferrufino’s family, who sued the Fabol executive. According to the document, they consider themselves “fully identified” with the cause.
“Like the relatives of Professor Ferrufino, the entire technical command, including props, doctor and kinesiologist of the Sport Boys club, who worked during the period June-October 2019 we were affected by the unscrupulous disaffection of our salariesby the leaders of Fabol, who deliberately diverted those resources”, he says in the first part of the letter, which circulates on social networks.
He adds that as a coaching staff they will respect their rights to remunerationso they will support people who were affected and harmed by cases similar to those of the Ferrufino family.
“We will continue the pertinent actions to restore Bolivian soccer to its true worth, of an institution that is there to serve football, not to use and take advantage of it, only for the personal interests of its leaders”, closes the document published on Monday night.
It is not ruled out that ‘Tucho’ Antelo and his coaching staff adhere to the demand of the Ferrufino family, to collect unpaid wages since 2019.
