The Superior Court of Electoral Justice (TSJE) gave the winner to the Colorado Santiago Peña and celebrated the civic maturity of these presidential elections.

With the 95.25% of the polling stations, the Colorado candidate Santiago Peña takes the lead over his liberal opponent Efraín Alegre, who is relegated far behind.
According to the TREP of the Electoral Justice, the presidential duo Santiago Peña and Pedro Alliana has the 42.89% (1,230,873 votes), with which it is positioned first in these presidential elections.
While in second place are the applicants of the CNational agreement, Efraín Alegre and Soledad Núñez, with the 27.53% (790,089 votes). It is the third time that the liberal has applied and it is the third time that he would not be able to overcome his opponent on duty.
While in third place are Payo Cubas – Stilber Valdes, with 22.77% (653,386 votes), this participation being a novelty, as it achieved significant support at the polls without having a large party structure.
