TSJ reports an increase of 55.83% in judicial resolutions during 2025

During the solemn opening session of judicial activities 2026the president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), magistrate Caryslia Beatriz Rodríguez Rodríguez, presented the management balance sheet corresponding to the year 2025.

The report highlighted a substantial increase in the resolution capacity of the Judiciary, with a total of 832,763 rulings, a figure that represents a general increase of 55.83% compared to the previous year. This result reflects significant progress in productivity indicators and in the fulfillment of institutional objectives.

The judge stressed that this achievement is the product of the joint effort of the chambers of the TSJ, the courts of the Republic, the mobile courts program and the communal peace justice, consolidating a system that guarantees procedural speed and effective access to justice throughout the national territory.

Increase in decisions and sentences

The jurisdictional exercise of the different chambers of the TSJ materialized in the issuance of 6,292 sentences, which represents an increase of 24.37% compared to 2024. At the same time, the courts of the Republic issued 781,403 judicial decisions, equivalent to an increase of 47.67% compared to the previous year.

These figures consolidate the operation of the judicial system and demonstrate the commitment of judges, magistrates and auxiliary officials to guaranteeing the right to access to justice.

Mobile courts and proximity justice

The president of the TSJ highlighted the expansion of the mobile courts program, which during 2025 carried out 1,037 comprehensive days in 267 municipalities and 3,535 communes, directly benefiting 680,696 citizens. This deployment allowed the processing of more than 200,000 judicial procedures, energizing attention and bringing justice closer to the communities.

In parallel, the communal peace justice system strengthened its powers through the training of 24,458 citizens, consolidating alternative conflict resolution mechanisms at the base of Popular Power.

Institutional strengthening and training

The management included the appointment of 764 judges by the Judicial Commission, expanding jurisdictional coverage in various constituencies. Likewise, the General Inspectorate of Courts carried out 530,050 control actions, guaranteeing transparency and compliance with official duties.

In terms of infrastructure, 19,048 architectural adaptations and 49,837 strategic provisions were made, incorporating cutting-edge technology. The National School of Judiciary consolidated a high-impact pedagogical deployment, with the training of 36,400 public servants in 3,504 academic activities.

International projection and work well-being

The TSJ reinforced its presence in the global arena through meetings of jurists and spaces for international judicial cooperation, highlighting the event held in Caracas in November 2025. Internally, the social and labor welfare and welfare system was strengthened, improving the living and working conditions of judicial officials.

The president of the TSJ concluded her assessment by reaffirming the commitment of the Judiciary to the defense of social peace and institutional trust.
