In compliance with the Constitution and the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Ministry of Popular Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, has requested the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) to withdraw the Venezuelan nationality from the far-right leader, Yon Goicoechea, for requesting and cooperating with foreign forces for an invasion of the Bolivarian nation.
Through a statement, he expressed that it is the duty of every Venezuelan to honor the Homeland, protect sovereignty and safeguard territorial integrity. This action is enshrined in article 130 of the Constitution.
“This action is formulated due to the public call made by the aforementioned individual to request and cooperate with foreign forces for the military invasion and occupation of Venezuela, to persecute and exterminate officials of the different security forces of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, as well as the mass murder of Venezuelans who are part of the popular power movements and organizations,” the text states.
In that sense, they stated that the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry and the Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Immigration (Saime) will proceed to take the corresponding administrative measures to eliminate any document that identifies them as a Venezuelan citizen.
In recent days, President Nicolás Maduro announced that he submitted to the TSJ a consideration based on article 130 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela so that the nationality of any traitor who joins a foreign army and intends to invade Venezuela be removed.
