The President of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), magistrate Gladys Gutierrezheld a meeting with the head of the Branch for the Americas, Europe and Central Asia of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Jose Maria Aranazwith the purpose of safeguarding the DD. Gutiérrez stressed that the permanent task of the TSJ and the Judiciary is to guarantee respect, effective judicial protection, due process and procedural speed to the defendants, in accordance with the democratic and social State of Law and Justice that advocates the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Likewise, the president of the TSJ was accompanied by the advisers of the Office of the Presidency of the TSJ, Doctor Federico Fuenmayor and the Dr. Julio Ariaswhere the head of the judicial portfolio also explained to the United Nations official the achievements obtained in the management he carries out at the head of the Venezuelan Judiciary, according to a publication on the Instagram social network account, @tsj_venezuela.

For their part, the visiting delegation referred to the latest actions they have undertaken as part of their activity in the country; These actions include their presence in criminal courts in various states of the country, where they have been able to witness various hearings in criminal matters, as well as a visit to the Special Victims Roomrecently opened in the Palace of Justice of the Metropolitan Area of ​​Caracas.
