TSJ notified Colombia of the capture of two femicides required in that country

The Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice gave Colombia 90 days to present the necessary documentation in the extradition process of Jeankiuver José Bustillo Chávez and Juan Diego Ovalles Cuenca, Venezuelans required from the neighboring country for their alleged participation in two femicides.

Such decisions are contained in sentences numbers 172 and 173 written by Judge Carmen Marisela Castro Gilly.

The two subjects present a blue notification from Interpol, an international police nomenclature for the countries attached to it to locate and detain one or more fugitives for extradition purposes.

In the case of Bustillos Chávez, he was arrested in San Cristóbal (Táchira) on April 20, 2021 by officials attached to the Cicpc Anti-Drug Brigade.

This subject is accused of killing his mother-in-law Nancy Esperanza Rodríguez Ortiz (47), using a firearm, on March 25, 2021 in the Las Margaritas neighborhood, Cúcuta, Colombia. Apparently the lady did not agree that her 16-year-old daughter had a relationship with Bustillos, 37, a situation that sparked his anger.

The man is part of the criminal organization La Línea, dedicated to controlling the passage of contraband, extortion, kidnapping, torture and murder of those who do not comply with the rules imposed by the criminal organization on the Cúcuta-Táchira border, says the sentence of the Criminal Chamber.

And regarding Ovalles, arrested on April 20 in Catia La Mar, he is required because he allegedly murdered Lis Vanessa López with a knife on March 3, 2021 in Boyacá, Colombia.
