TSJ begins cohort of the Gender and Human Rights Diploma

In the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), the second cohort of the Diploma in Gender and Human Rightswith the purpose of providing judges, judges, court secretaries nationwide, with tools to respond to legislative advances and changes in the socio-historical situation in terms of women’s rights and protection.

The president of the highest court, magistrate Caryslia Beatriz Rodríguez Rodríguezstated that the diploma is a tool whose true effectiveness “lies in the will of each of you to use the teaching you receive to do justice and contribute to the society that we all want.”

For her part, the vice president of the Constitutional Chamber and Coordinator of the National Commission on Gender Justice of the Judiciary, magistrate Lourdes Benicia Suarez Andersonreported that the diploma study plan is 120 academic hours, consisting of four modules, while the general director of the National School of Judiciary, magistrate (E) Guillermo Blanco Vázquezpointed out the importance that constant training has for judicial servants.

Likewise, the TSJ developed a judicial management plan 2024-2030 coordinated by the member of the Constitutional Chamber of the TSJ, and coordinator of the Special Commission on Technology and Digitalization of the Processes of the Judiciary (Cetydip), magistrate Michel Adriana Velásquez Grillet.

This project is part of the TSJ’s guidelines to promote the modernization of the justice system and offer quality service to the Venezuelan people.
