The Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) of Venezuela inaugurated this Saturday the Digital Legal Assistance Center with which they seek to offer free primary legal assistance 24 hours a day.
“President of the TSJ, Gladys Gutiérrez, inaugurates the Digital Legal Attention Center: TSJ Equidad, in the Executive Directorate of the Magistracy,” the institution indicated on its Twitter account, where it shared photos of the place.
This space is designed for primary legal care for those who need legal advice. It will work free of charge, 24/7, by telephone through the number 0800-Equidad (3784323).
The highest court explained that this center was designed to offer primary legal care for those who need legal advice, free of charge, 24 hours a day, through a telephone number.
“Lawyers with extensive knowledge of the structure of the Judiciary will be responsible for channeling the attention of litigants.”
El Gutiérrez explained in a statement that the objective is to implement telematic hearings throughout the country and thus contribute to “procedural speed”, as well as guarantee “expeditious and effective access to justice for the population deprived of liberty.”
